1. What is “Sustain the Splash”?

Sustain the Splash is a community campaign created to fund critical pool improvements and preserve our club’s legacy. As a member-owned organization, this initiative allows every household to directly invest in HHSC’s future.


2. Why do we need this campaign now?

After decades of use, portions of the pool infrastructure, mechanical systems, and deck need restoration to maintain safety, efficiency, and sustainability. By launching the campaign now, we ensure upgrades happen before they become urgent or more costly.


3. What projects or improvements are included?

The initial focus is on essential pool resurfacing and system upgrades. Future phases may include deck enhancements, accessibility updates, and other member-prioritized improvements based on board and community input.


4. How much money needs to be raised?

Our fundraising target is $200,000 based on engineering and contractor estimates. The donation transparency is shown in emails, newsletters, and meetings, and reflects our progress toward that goal.

6. Can donations be tax-deductible?

Hunting Hills Swim Club is a 501(c)(7) nonprofit social club, which means contributions are not tax-deductible under federal tax law. We are committed to transparency, and we appreciate every contribution made to Sustain the Splash.


7. What if my employer offers donation matching or sponsorships?

Members are encouraged to check if their employers offer matching gifts or local sponsorship programs. Business sponsors are recognized in newsletters, signage, and seasonal events.


8. Are there other ways to support besides donating?

Yes! Volunteering is just as valuable, especially during spring cleanup days and events. Members can also spread the word or help connect potential sponsors to the club.


9. How will the funds be tracked and reported?

Transparency is key. Donation totals and expenses will be reported monthly through:

• Monthly newsletters

• Board meetings and annual reports.
